What we do with what you send us.
Davolls Jones Ltd is the data controller for this website. This notice covers the enquiry form and nothing else — we do not run advertising or analytics tracking on this site.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, a telephone number if you give us one, what you are enquiring about, and your message. The form is hosted by Netlify, who process the submission on our behalf and store it so we can read it.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry and, if the work goes ahead, to set up and run the appointment. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to someone who has asked us to — and, once appointed, performance of a contract.
Who sees it
The directors of Davolls Jones Ltd, and our hosting provider as part of delivering the form. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: deleted within twelve months.
- Enquiries that become an appointment: kept with the project records for six years after completion, in line with our professional obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email enquiries@davollsjones.co.uk and we will come back to you within one month. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. The enquiry form includes a hidden field used to catch automated spam; it holds nothing about you.
